This weekend I went turkey hunting. I was drawn when Dustin had only been married 3 or 4 years but haven't been since then. Dustin has put me in every year (except when I've been nursing a baby) and this year I got drawn. I wasn't super excited to go cause we are going to be traveling a lot this summer, but boy did I have a great time!!! Tenay and her brother were also drawn and we all camped together. I had so much fun just being with Dustin. We went out hunting early in the morning and both of us were freezing our pants off, laughing at each other cause we couldn't stop shaking. I remembered what it was like when we were dating and just newly married. It was beautiful up there, I enjoyed sitting on the back of the quad, while Dustin drove, watching the trees go by. What a beautiful world we have to live in and enjoy. We slept in a tent together for the first time in a long time. It was a nice, relaxing and very enjoyable trip. Tenay's brother even brought a satellite dish so they could watch the Suns game. I got a turkey and almost fell over with excitement, I don't know that Dustin has ever seen me that excited about hunting.

Bike?Bike?Bike?
Embry loves to ride the bikes! Every time we get in the car to go somewhere and she sees the bikes in the garage she says "Bike?Bike?Bike?" in question form, asking if she can ride the bikes. Her favorite is to ride the scooter with mom or by herself.

What a Splash!
It's hot outside, almost time to add water fun to everyday! I love the summer! I love taking the kids swimming and enjoying the sun. Since the pool isn't ready yet, too cold, I took Brody and Embry to the splash park at our outdoor mall. They had so much fun splashing in the water and getting all wet. Embry didn't quite know what to think about it all, but she got a little wet. Brody, on the other hand, was completely soaked and had a blast. By the time he was done he was freezing in the 80 degree weather, which the mom's really enjoyed. We had a lot of fun and plan to have a little picnic next time we go. We went with Tamra, Dallin, Bryce, Melanie and Lydia. It was so much fun to just sit and let the kids enjoy themselves.

Ohhhh...The love of a blanket
She was soooo sad as she watched the blankets swirl around in the dryer.
As soon as it beeped I opened the dryer and this pink one was right on top. She pulled it out and shut the dryer.
What a happy girl, reunited with her blankie!

All in a days work!
Since Tamra moved into my home we have been busy little bees buzzing around organizing, cleaning, cooking, moving in, and tending our little ones. Well today we conquered the garage...dum...dum...dum!
What you don't know is that my garage is still full and I mean FULL of boxes that have not been unpacked, stuff that needs to be sold in a garage sell and of course all the everyday garage stuff that is in normal garages. Why don't you take a look for yourself...
The garage AFTER:
I can fit cars inside it now!!!
I know it looks like we just put stuff up against the walls but we know where everything is and where it will go. I have a stack that I need to unpack and move into the house, a stack that will be sold in a garage sell, and a stack that will go inside garage cabinets when I get them. We worked from 9am to 6pm with small breaks to feed kids, change diapers, and put them down for naps. They played out side with us and got extremely dirty and loved every minute of it. The plan is to unpack 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 boxes a day until the unpack pile has dwindled away. Thanks to Tamra who motivates me to be more organized we will have us moved into this home in a very organized fashion.
WISH ME LUCK!

Love my girls...Miss my boys
I love, love, love these little girls! They are such a joy to have around. They are smiling 99% of the time, don't have much to complain about, enjoy life, are full of energy, are so very pretty, love each other, love their daddy to pieces (more than they love their mom), love to color, like to clean, cook, set the table, and use blue soap (Windex) (obviously Kenley enjoys most of these things...but believe it or not Embry likes to clean up toys). I just am so grateful to have these girls in my life! It is an amazing, overwhelming, exciting, scary, opportunity that I have to raise these girls up to be wonderful women! I hope that I will do a good job and that they will love me for being their mom and doing my best!
I'm missing these two boys! They went on an overnighter fishing trip with their dad, uncles, cousins and grandpa. They have only been gone a total of 3 hours and I already miss them. They love to cause trouble, most would say make messes but they are cleaner than my girls, eat treats, play in the dirt, ride bikes, hug and kiss mom, pick on their sisters (mostly Brocker picks on Benny Boo, Brode is supper sweet to Embee), and watch movies. Boys are so different than girls for me, they look up to their dad mostly, I just hope that I can be a good example and teach them things that their wives will appreciate later (the thought of them having a wife terrifies me).
What a lucky girl I am.
