Every year for as long as I can remember the Larson family reunion was in Cloudcroft, NM. Because of some medical reasons of one of our extended family members we haven't been able to go to Cloudcroft for 4 or 5 years, we went to Verden, NM; lower altitude. Oh, how I missed the mountainous family reunion with the rain, cool weather and traditions of when I was young. This year we were able to return to our roots in the mountains of Cloudcroft. I was so excited to take the kiddos to the place I grew up going every year.
Some of my favorite memories: dirty kid faces, fishing, eating the fish, Brock eating the fish he caught, Brody's face when he caught his own fish, Embry's face seeing a fish up close and personal for the first time, relaxing in the trees, playdoh playing, finger painting, waterfall, Kenley dancing in the waterfall, the beautiful weather, baths in the kitchen sink, marble tourney, cards, talent show, dinner in the pavilion, going into town, taking old fashion photos, ice cream in town, family gathering at the church spot, dirt in my nails, showering with the daddy long leg spiders, late night chats, laughing until I wanted to burst and so much more. We had a blast!
Can't wait until next year!
