TURKEY ANYONE?

This weekend I went turkey hunting. I was drawn when Dustin had only been married 3 or 4 years but haven't been since then. Dustin has put me in every year (except when I've been nursing a baby) and this year I got drawn. I wasn't super excited to go cause we are going to be traveling a lot this summer, but boy did I have a great time!!! Tenay and her brother were also drawn and we all camped together. I had so much fun just being with Dustin. We went out hunting early in the morning and both of us were freezing our pants off, laughing at each other cause we couldn't stop shaking. I remembered what it was like when we were dating and just newly married. It was beautiful up there, I enjoyed sitting on the back of the quad, while Dustin drove, watching the trees go by. What a beautiful world we have to live in and enjoy. We slept in a tent together for the first time in a long time. It was a nice, relaxing and very enjoyable trip. Tenay's brother even brought a satellite dish so they could watch the Suns game. I got a turkey and almost fell over with excitement, I don't know that Dustin has ever seen me that excited about hunting.

Dustin, I just want you to know that I loved hanging out with you this weekend and as much as I complain about going hunting I really do love it...when I get something (just kidding, sorta). I understand why you love to hunt and I'm glad you have something that you love so much. Thank you for taking me, keeping me warm, cooking my food and making sure I had a great time! I LOVE YOU!
Enjoy the pictures

Bike?Bike?Bike?

Embry loves to ride the bikes! Every time we get in the car to go somewhere and she sees the bikes in the garage she says "Bike?Bike?Bike?" in question form, asking if she can ride the bikes. Her favorite is to ride the scooter with mom or by herself.

LOVE THE LITTLE MOMENTS...

We had just bathed the kids and were getting ready to put them in bed...

It got really quiet...(not normal right before bed)

This is what I found...

Don't you just love the little moments?

Daddy's Girl

Dustin had to buy her camo! She's already a daddy's girl, now he's got her dressing like him also!

What a Splash!

It's hot outside, almost time to add water fun to everyday! I love the summer! I love taking the kids swimming and enjoying the sun. Since the pool isn't ready yet, too cold, I took Brody and Embry to the splash park at our outdoor mall. They had so much fun splashing in the water and getting all wet. Embry didn't quite know what to think about it all, but she got a little wet. Brody, on the other hand, was completely soaked and had a blast. By the time he was done he was freezing in the 80 degree weather, which the mom's really enjoyed. We had a lot of fun and plan to have a little picnic next time we go. We went with Tamra, Dallin, Bryce, Melanie and Lydia. It was so much fun to just sit and let the kids enjoy themselves.

Ohhhh...The love of a blanket

This girl loves her blankets, she has four that are the same style but four different colors. She loves everyone of them. The other day I was washing all four at the same time. What was I thinking?
She was soooo sad as she watched the blankets swirl around in the dryer.
As soon as it beeped I opened the dryer and this pink one was right on top. She pulled it out and shut the dryer.
What a happy girl, reunited with her blankie!

Love...Hate...Relationship

These two little ones are so cute together...

...until Bryce wants something Embry has.

He chased her around the house until he finally got her.

All in a days work!

Since Tamra moved into my home we have been busy little bees buzzing around organizing, cleaning, cooking, moving in, and tending our little ones. Well today we conquered the garage...dum...dum...dum!

What you don't know is that my garage is still full and I mean FULL of boxes that have not been unpacked, stuff that needs to be sold in a garage sell and of course all the everyday garage stuff that is in normal garages. Why don't you take a look for yourself...

The garage BEFORE:

The garage AFTER:

I can fit cars inside it now!!!

I know it looks like we just put stuff up against the walls but we know where everything is and where it will go. I have a stack that I need to unpack and move into the house, a stack that will be sold in a garage sell, and a stack that will go inside garage cabinets when I get them. We worked from 9am to 6pm with small breaks to feed kids, change diapers, and put them down for naps. They played out side with us and got extremely dirty and loved every minute of it. The plan is to unpack 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 boxes a day until the unpack pile has dwindled away. Thanks to Tamra who motivates me to be more organized we will have us moved into this home in a very organized fashion.

WISH ME LUCK!

A FUN WEEKEND!

Nannie and Grandpa came into town to see their new grand baby. While they were here we went to two of Brock's ball games, the temple, ate at Rosa's, had Bahama Bucks and delicious Gelato Freeze, visited a sweet angel baby and stayed up way too late eating chocolate. We love those little moments we get to share, so much we are exhausted from being together.

Our number 33 with his hands up, what a stud!

Embry loved Nannies glasses, such a diva!

Proud grandparents

It's not very often that we get a pic of all the kiddos and their parents plus one sweet baby

Aunts for hire (free of course)

My little Lily girl, such a sweety

Shooting Hoops

Brock started playing basketball in a city league a couple weeks ago so we went out and got a basketball hoop with Eric and Tenay. Dustin and Eric put it together Wednesday night and the boys played until they had to go to bed. The next morning I heard the basketball bright and early! I think this is a good sport for him, he really enjoys his games and has already started to get really good. He went to basketball camp for two years and really liked it, who knows this may be his sport.Brock and Caden are on the same team.
This is what Brody did while the hoop was being set up!
What a wild man!

MY BOYS ARE BACK!

The boys had such a great time fishing with their daddy, Grandpa Johnson, uncles and cousins! I missed them so much and they were only gone for 24 hours. I loved seeing the pictures when they came home, I got to see the joy on their faces and how much fun they had. Dustin had the most fun I'm sure watching the boys be boys, he really looks forward to hanging out with just the boys! They had a great time, Brock caught a fish and Brody was so excited about getting to camp and sleep in the tent. When Dustin got home he thought that I didn't miss him cause I didn't include him in my previous post about the boys. I'm sorry honey I really did miss you,

THE MOST!!! I just thought you knew that.

All geared up and ready to fish!

The boys wading in the water catching minnows for bait. They didn't have swimsuits so they had to go in their underwear. Good thing their shirts are long!

I'm glad you boys are back! I missed you! All of you!

Or am I?...

If you haven't already guessed it, those are minnows swimming around in my master tub ...that I had just cleaned two days before!

Don't you just love boys?

Love my girls...Miss my boys

I love, love, love these little girls! They are such a joy to have around. They are smiling 99% of the time, don't have much to complain about, enjoy life, are full of energy, are so very pretty, love each other, love their daddy to pieces (more than they love their mom), love to color, like to clean, cook, set the table, and use blue soap (Windex) (obviously Kenley enjoys most of these things...but believe it or not Embry likes to clean up toys). I just am so grateful to have these girls in my life! It is an amazing, overwhelming, exciting, scary, opportunity that I have to raise these girls up to be wonderful women! I hope that I will do a good job and that they will love me for being their mom and doing my best!

I'm missing these two boys! They went on an overnighter fishing trip with their dad, uncles, cousins and grandpa. They have only been gone a total of 3 hours and I already miss them. They love to cause trouble, most would say make messes but they are cleaner than my girls, eat treats, play in the dirt, ride bikes, hug and kiss mom, pick on their sisters (mostly Brocker picks on Benny Boo, Brode is supper sweet to Embee), and watch movies. Boys are so different than girls for me, they look up to their dad mostly, I just hope that I can be a good example and teach them things that their wives will appreciate later (the thought of them having a wife terrifies me).

What a lucky girl I am.
