Snow Trip

We took the kids up to the cabin to play in the snow. They had so much fun building an igloo with their daddy, sledding and having snowball wars with their cousins. Here's a glimpse...

When we put E's gloves on she said "Mama oh no, my fingers is all gone."

Embry spent almost the entire trip in this baby bouncing chair. She loved it! She would bounce as high as she could and then spin herself in circles until she was sooooo dizzy. We all got a good laugh watching her.
Thanks for a great cabin trip kiddos, it was so fun watching you play in the snow!

Fall Leaves

Last week I had such a fun day with my Brody and Embry! We went to the San Tan Mall to get some lunch and we ate outside under the beautiful sun. The weather was perfect! I loved sitting with my 5 and 2 year old. They were so joyful as they fed the birdies little bits of their lunch. I could have stayed for hours!
As we walked back to the car Brody said, "Mom look, fall leaves" as he bent down to grab a few to bring home.
"Mom I just love fall leaves", as he proceeded to smash the ones on the ground beneath his feet so they would make a crunching sound (one of my favorites as a kid and still is to this very day).
I'm so grateful for a day to be a kid again and enjoy the simple things in life!

Had to be shared...

I have no words... all I can do is smile!

Over halfway

Well here it is... a picture of my pregnant self. I thought I should probably document it in case my girls ever wonder what mom looked like pregnant. So here's the belly girls!

Here are some things I am grateful for at 22 wks. of pregnancy:

I still fit into one pair of jeans that are not maternity (I wore them pre-prego), I wear them almost everyday, wanna go buy more just a bigger size

I can still go to the gym and run (great stress release)

Baby is healthy and doing great

A husband that is so willing to help

Happy children

I don't waddle...YET

I don't have to take the glucose test till my next dr. visit

I can still sleep partially on my stomach (if that makes sense)

I only have to pee once in the night

Here's to 18 more weeks...

It's all very clear now

My little buddy got glasses! Dustin and noticed that he wasn't able to see things very clear that were far away. He had a hard time seeing the clock on the microwave from the kitchen table but most importantly he couldn't see animals that Dustin would point out to him while hunting. So, Dustin set up an appointment for Brock to have his eyes checked. Sure enough, he needs glasses. He sees better with his right eye than his left but both need the aid of glasses. For documentation purposes his prescription is: Sph: -1.00 right eye; -0.50 left eye; Cyl: -0.25 right eye; -0.50 left eye; Axis: 094 right eye; 075 left eye. I understand none of that. Oh well, that's why they don't pay me the big bucks!
Brock you look so cute in your glasses! I love that you are excited about them and want to wear them cause you know that they will help you see. We love you Buddy!

What do you do after eleven years...

...JUST BE TOGETHER!

...give each other gifts...

I got the IPod Touch, Thanks Honey!!

...eat yummy food...

(Dustin made us yummy stake to eat while we watched the amazing Cardinals game, go Cardinals)

...and just be silly...

Dustin found this icicle under the cabin porch, it was so fun to be surrounded by the snow!

Eleven Years...

Wow time really flies when you're havin' fun! Eleven years went by in a flash. Lets see how good my memory is...

-Year one, no kiddos but one on the way, stayed over night at the Pointe Hilton Resort
-Year two, one sweet little boy, stayed over night in a hotel in Sierra Vista while Nannie watched our sweet boy at her house (don't remember why we were there)
-Year three, one sweet little boy and a little girl on the way, went to dinner and a movie
-Year four, one sweet little boy and a darling little girl, dinner and movie again (I think)
-Year five, one sweet little boy and a darling little girl, Suns game dinner at the compass (rotating resturant) at the top of the hotel we spent the night.
-Year six, a sweet little boy a darling little girl and funny 2 month old little boy, quick dinner (I was breast feeding)
-Year seven, a sweet boy a darling little girl and a funny little boy, Cruise to Grand Cayman Island and Jamacia thanks to Nannie who watched the kiddos
-Year eight, a sweet boy a darling little girl and a funny little boy, a night of dinner gondula ride and romance at a hotel in Scottsdale
-Year nine, a sweet boy a darling girl a funny little boy and a 2 month old little girl, a quick bite to eat (breast feeding again) and a night of packing (we were moving out of our house)
-Year ten, a sweet boy a darling girl a funny little boy and a smiley little girl, trip to Utah, Suns game, shopping, Temple going, Massages and a very fancy hotel (Grand American). We stayed where the Suns were staying and ran into Barbosa outside the elevator.
-Year eleven, a sweet boy a darling girl a funny little boy a smiley little girl and another girl on the way, trip to the cabin to spend all weekend relaxing, playing in the snow, watching movies and just being together.

I have such a great time being with Dustin, we laugh together, make eachother laugh (well mostly he makes me laugh), we both don't like purple candies and tomatoes, we can never share a dessert cause he wants chocolate and I want vanilla, enjoy the same shows, love being with family and are excited to have another little girl.

It's been a fun ride so far, I am excited to see what the years ahead have in store for us. Until next year honey I love you...

Happy New Year!

We had so much fun having the family over to our house for New Years as well. New Years Eve is my sisters birthday so we had a Birthday Party/New Years Party. We had way to many goodies and way to much food and a blast! We spent the night eating, singing Happy Birthday (Embry's most favortie song), eating some more, playing the Wii, still eating and bringing in the New Year! Thanks for a fun night of people, people everywhere, my favorite thing, what a great start to the New Year!

Now every one is at their own home and back to their normal routines (my parents left yesterday) :( and I'm off to clean it all up...
